Virtualisation

ITswitch recently engaged with a client that had already made a significant investment in their IT hardware, however with the introduction of new software to the business they needed to setup an additional server. To control costs ITswitch virtualised their existing server, by setting up VMware ESXi 5.0on their HP server hardware.

Moving to new office

ITswitch have completed many site moves for all types of IT environments, including offices, warehouses, and factories. Most recently we had a client move their entire office to a much larger site. ITswitch were responsible for moving the servers whilst maintaining their emails throughout the server downtime.

Standardised antivirus

We recently took over management of a client environment with 5 Servers and 115 workstations spread over multiple locations. In the initial audit of their environment we identified a range of antivirus products in use. Different versions, different editions from different vendors and in some cases subscription status had expired and the software was no longer receiving virus definition updates.
